Supporting scientists to become #startup entrepreneurs and bring their #innovation to the markets is something we are invested in here at EIT Food, and one of our projects does just that... 💪 Food Entrepreneurship made in Bavaria (FEMIB) is a project funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Landesentwicklung und Energie that we are running together with our strategic partner Technical University of Munich 🤝 It aims to boost Bavarian agrifood startups and supports young teams at the transition from innovative research projects into startup business models. 💡 As the first project phase comes to an end, we were delighted to able to show the project’s impact to the Bavarian state secretary Tobias Gotthardt and TUM President Thomas F. Hofmann . 💚 Thomas F. Hofmann , president of TU Munich: “We have all the possibilities to build a Bavarian “Silicon Valley” for Food here with all the partners in the food industry, the ministry and of course EIT Food with its impressive European Community.” 💚Bavarian State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt : "Hats off to the creative ideas that are born here.
