In keeping stride with one of Primo Water’s core priorities to promote hydration and wellness in the local communities in which we live and work, on Friday, September 13th and Wednesday, September 18th, Viola Johnson Jacobs , Director of Government Affairs, Eric DeVanie , VP of Quality and Sustainability, and other team members proudly hosted two separate events at our Ephrata, Pennsylvania and Los Angeles, California plants this past week for elected officials in their respective regions. The Ephrata, Pennsylvania facility hosted U.S. Congressman, Lloyd Smucker (R-11), his staff and Cory Martin , VP of Government Relations with the International Bottled Water Association . During the tour, Rep. Smucker learned about the strong history and importance of high-quality bottled water in the region and recognized a number of long-tenured associates for their dedication and years of service. Rep. Smucker is a member of the influential House Ways and Means Committee, which oversees tax policy. The Los Angeles, California facility hosted state Senator Maria Durazo and her staff. Sen. Durazo commended Primo Water underscoring the significance of companies like ours that exemplify a deep commitment to the communities in which we operate and serve. This commitment is demonstrated by our long-tenured, multi-generational workforce, with some associates dedicating 30 to 40 years of service. Sen. Durazo is a member of the Labor, Public Employment and Retirement Committee.
