On Friday, October 18th, we were thrilled to welcome Ramon Rivera, Senior VP of Global Operations at Grupo Bimbo, to the Bakery School in Pennsauken, NJ. Ramon captivated over 50 students and administrators with stories from his impressive 43-year career at Grupo Bimbo, the world’s largest bakery. He emphasized that hard work and dedication are key to success in the baking industry. The event was extra special with the appearance of Osito the Bear! Students enjoyed taking photos, sampling delicious Bimbo treats, and participating in a creative contest to come up with the next big idea for sweet baked goods. A heartfelt thank you to Ramon from Puratos and the Bakery School for his inspiring visit!
