How the Quilter adviser school transformed into an academy

Quilter Adviser School was transformed into the Quilter Academy under Chris Jones in September 2023. The academy now offers a 13-week program followed by one-on-one support and has added a full-time course through the Chartered Insurance Institute, along with a bridging course to support students in their development as financial advisers.

Quilter appoints Watson & Co to its mortgage network

Quilter Financial Planning appointed Watson & Company, a large mortgage and protection brokerage in Bristol, to its mortgage and protection network as an appointed representative. This move is part of Quilter's ongoing expansion of its mortgage network, supported by the Quilter Academy, which helps existing firms grow and integrates new appointed representatives.

Quilter provides financial advice and a range of investment services to help individuals achieve their financial goals. Self-described as assisting clients through various life stages and offering a variety of products such as retirement planning and investment portfolios.

The fourth and final charity to receive a share of the Quilter Foundation's latest Local Community Fund grant is The Hive Youth Zone, Wirral, who offer a safe space for young people to go.

The second charity to receive a grant from the Quilter Foundation's Local Community fund is Free To Be Kids, a charity focused on supporting children's emotional health.  

Free to Be Kids' Holly Slimming said: "Quilter's donation will help us run our residential projects in 2024 by covering 50% of our accommodation costs. This support will enable vulnerable young people to access nature, joy and adventure, transforming their emotional health after adverse childhood experiences and changing their stories about what they can achieve."
