Welcome to the RENK family, Florian Malies!
Florian Malies joined the Ethics & Compliance department at RENK on January 1st as Lead Compliance Officer. In this new, global role, he heads the Corporate Ethics & Compliance department, which is responsible in particular for the further development and expansion of the group-wide #compliance management system (CMS) at RENK. Florian brings many years of experience as a lawyer in the field of legal and compliance and was most recently responsible for setting up a CMS at a large German food manufacturer as Head of Compliance.
We wish him every success and a great start at RENK!

Celebrating a year since the initiation of EDINAF, the European Digital Naval Foundation project, our recent General Assembly in Brussels was a significant moment. Gathering key partners, the event fostered vital discussions on project advancement, technical needs, and naval combat challenges.
Two illuminating roundtables on naval combat clouds highlighted Europe's challenges and EDINAF's role in addressing them. Juan Ignacio Silvera Vez, EDINAF’s Project Coordinator, emphasized the project's progress, stating, "We're on track to meet the expectations set by both Ministries of Defence and the European Commission."
The assembly showcased the importance of collaboration among European Defence Fund projects. Together, we're shaping the future of digital naval #innovation in Europe!

Team-Spirit made by RENK: Letzten Samstag (13.01.24) haben wir unseren FC Augsburg 1907 im Heimspiel gegen Bayer Leverkusen angefeuert und gefeiert! Das Gegentor in der 94. Minute war zwar ärgerlich, aber wir waren uns einig: Die Mannschaft hat klasse gespielt, starke Chancen herausgeholt und super durchgehalten.
Insgesamt haben wir mit 60 RENK Mitarbeitenden plus Begleitpersonen Stadion-Tickets in unserer Firmen-Verlosungsaktion ergattert – inklusive Fan-Schal mit RENK Branding. Die Stimmung war von Anfang bis zum Schluss ausgezeichnet und wir sind überzeugt, dass die Tore in der laufenden Saison auf jeden Fall noch kommen.
