There has been so much going on this last month, that we wanted to give you a glimpse of life at our little Swiss bakery. Here are some of the behind-the-scenes this month! 📌With all your support and to craft the volumes we now supply to you all, we’re starting 24-hour production at our bakery in the foothills of the Alps! Meet Thibault, Ibrahima, Anthony, and Martin, who joined our production team this month! 📌 Siddhi Mehta 🍫🍪 presented at ISM Middle East – one of the largest confectionary and bakery trade shows in the Middle East. It was such an honour to talk about the changes we see in the future – we believe the companies of tomorrow, made for our generation, have to be more than just for profit. We have to contribute to the well-being of our communities and the environment around us. 📌We made our debut in Germany! Here’s Peter, our awesome German rep, with our 100g filled chocolate bars at Denn’s Supermarkets! If you are in Germany, you can find our chocolate in over 200 stores! There is so much more coming in the next few months! 📌A selfie in Ireland, meeting our lovely health food store clients! We met over 60 clients that we supply in Ireland, and they were amazed that we did so much more than chocolate. Did you know you can now find all our biscuit share bags, our 100g chocolate bars, and 50g cookies in Ireland too? 📌Daniel, Daphne, and Siddhi are working on a plan for additional investment in the factory as we need to scale up production in the next year. We make 180,000 biscuits a day and around 30,000 filled cookies a day – and we’re in some intense discussions on the investment it would take to quadruple that volume. 📌Daniel - our maître pâtissier has been experimenting all month behind the scenes. He’s creating something we call a ‘pâte levée’, which is incredibly challenging without eggs. Traditionally, for our other biscuits we use a different type of dough, so this is for something new that we might add to our range. Watch this space 😊
