The SAME Virtus 135 RVshift tractors were built in a few months after winning the ministerial tender and will be dedicated mainly to forest firefighting operations in 18 italian regions.

Great success for the ‘Dettagli Meccanici’ workshop, organised yesterday by the SDF Historical Archive on the occasion of 'Luglio con TreviglioMusei'. 

Inside the SAME Museum, more than twenty children aged 6 to 12 learned analogies between tractor mechanics and the working of the human body through simple and intuitive stories, and then concluded the afternoon with the creation of their own poster-collage on the man-machine theme.

Grande successo per il laboratorio “Dettagli Meccanici”, organizzato ieri dall’Archivio Storico SDF in occasione di "Luglio con TreviglioMusei". 

All’interno del Museo SAME oltre venti bambini dai 6 ai 12 anni hanno imparato analogie tra meccanica del trattore e funzionamento del corpo umano grazie a racconti semplici ed intuitivi, per poi concludere il pomeriggio con la creazione del proprio poster-collage sul tema uomo-macchina.

The dealers meeting of the Italian market was held yesterday in Treviglio (Italy).  

Yesterday afternoon, the SDF Auditorium hosted over a hundred participants, including market operators and dealers: they discussed the trend of the first months of the year 2024 and shared objectives and strategies for the second half of the year.

The PowerDays in Lauingen (Germany) are drawing to a close.  
The training sessions hosted around 500 participants from dealers from all over Europe: field trials and demos allowed them to experience the SDF products and learn about SDF digital services.  

The outcome of the experience was entirely positive for the SDF team, which managed to reorganise all activities despite logistical problems caused by the bad weather that hit Lauingen and the surrounding areas last month.

Le sessioni di formazione hanno ospitato circa 500 partecipanti provenienti da concessionari di tutta Europa: prove in campo e demo hanno permesso di toccare con mano i prodotti e conoscere i servizi digitali SDF. 

Il bilancio dell’esperienza è stato del tutto positivo per il team SDF, che è riuscito a riorganizzare tutte le attività nonostante i problemi logistici causati dal maltempo che ha colpito Lauingen e le zone limitrofe nel mese scorso.

SDF continues to invest in the training and professional updating of its employees: developing new skills, motivating its resources and fostering comparison and individual initiative turn out to be important for the company. 

More than 15,000 hours of training about current topics, ranging from technology and artificial intelligence to health and additive behaviors, are provided to employees each year. JOiiNT LAB celebrates 4 years of activity. The joint laboratory between the Italian Institute of Technology (ITT) and the Intellimech Consortium, of which SDF is a member, is aimed at technology transfer between the world of research and industry, for an optimization of human work in the company thanks to robotics.

Reduction of repetitive gestures, teleoperated maintenance and inspections, or even product innovations have been the crucial issues addressed in the 16 industrial cases: over the past 4 years, robots capable of performing physical and visual checks on products, or moving containers from the warehouse to the lines, rather than innovative sensor systems aimed at autonomous driving of agricultural tractors have been developed. 

The validity of the experiences developed so far opens up the prospects for JOiiNT LAB, which aims to give continuity to its projects while maintaining its uniqueness and vocation.

JOiiNT LAB festeggia i 4 anni di attività. Il laboratorio congiunto tra l’Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (ITT) e il Consorzio Intellimech, di cui SDF fa parte, è finalizzato al trasferimento tecnologico tra mondo della ricerca ed industria, per un’ottimizzazione del lavoro umano in azienda grazie alla robotica.

Riduzione di gesti ripetitivi, manutenzioni ed ispezioni teleoperate, o ancora innovazioni di prodotto sono stati i temi cruciali affrontati nei 16 casi industriali: nel corso di questi 4 anni sono stati sviluppati robot in grado di effettuare controlli fisici e visivi su prodotti, o di spostare contenitori dal magazzino alla linea, piuttosto che sistemi sensoristici innovativi finalizzati alla guida autonoma di trattori agricoli. 

La validità delle esperienze finora sviluppate apre le prospettive di JOiiNT LAB, che mira a dare continuità ai suoi progetti, mantenendo la sua unicità e la sua vocazione.

Il 20 giugno scorso, l'auditorium del Campus della sede di Jolanda di Savoia di BF Spa ha ospitato il convegno dal titolo “I SEMI DELL’ENERGIA – Dall’agricoltura alla transizione energetica”. 

Un evento di grande rilevanza che ha visto la partecipazione di importanti figure del settore come Federico Vecchioni, CEO di BF S.p.A., Lodovico Bussolati, CEO del Gruppo SDF; Luigi Ciarrocchi, Direttore CCUS, Forestry e Agro-Feedstock di Eni; Francesco Giunti, Responsabile iniziative integrate e attività regolatorie di Eni; Gianluca Lelli, CEO di CAI - Consorzi Agrari d’Italia; Mauro Fanin, CEO Cereal Docks Group e Marco Allaria Olivieri, Direttore Coldiretti Emilia Romagna.

🌱 Collaborazione tra BF e Eni:
L’evento ha consolidato la collaborazione tra il Gruppo BF ed Eni attraverso il “Progetto Italia”, che mira a sviluppare una filiera agro-industriale sul territorio nazionale per uso energetico, utilizzando terreni marginali. I biocarburanti HVO prodotti potrebbero rappresentare una soluzione efficace anche per i mezzi agricoli. Durante il convegno, quattro trattori della flotta del Gruppo SDF (gamma DEUTZ-FAHR, modelli 6150.4 TTV, 6170 TTV, 7250 TTV e 8280 TTV), partner di BF dal 2020, sono stati riforniti con biocarburante HVO e testati nei campi adiacenti al Campus.

🔬 Risultati dei test sui terreni di BF Agricola:
Durante l'incontro, sono stati condivisi i risultati dei test condotti sui terreni di BF Agricola. Su una superficie di 90 ettari, nel periodo ottobre-novembre 2023, è stata coltivata la Brassica carinata come cover crops. I test hanno dimostrato che questa coltura di copertura non solo può essere utilizzata per la produzione di oli vegetali adatti alla filiera dei biocarburanti #HVO per il trasporto, ma svolge anche un ruolo cruciale nella gestione dei cambiamenti climatici e nella transizione energetica.
