SMPC has an installed capacity of 600MW, with around 600MW more in the pipeline.
 
By integrating its mining and power operations, SMPC can better manage its fuel supply and power production so that millions of Filipinos could have access to affordable and reliable electricity.

A licensed Chemical Engineer, Rubel began his career as a Chemical Technician. Through his expertise in chemical process engineering, he has risen to a leadership position, where he now motivates his team to consistently strive for their best in every task.

Hats Off to Kent Patingan! As a Hydrogeologist, Kent’s work focuses on groundwater and surface water data collection and interpretation. He also monitors seepage contributing to the overall safety of the mine site. To deliver his work effectively, he consistently applies SMPC’s core value of #integrity in everything he does, especially in data reporting. He believes that integrity in the workplace means adhering to ethical standards, even when faced with tough decisions or temptations. Meet Philneromel Cuizon, a foreman from the Mobile Maintenance Department. As a foreman, Philneromel supervises the planning section, which allows him to collaborate with the section leaders in his department. This role excites him, as it provides the opportunity to showcase his full potential. He greatly admires SMPC for its core value of #Teamwork .
