On International Women’s Day, we would like to take this opportunity to reflect on the achievements and contributions of the women of Taro. Women make up 45% of our global workforce and hold nearly 50% of management level positions within the company. These numbers support Taro's aspiration to be an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and has the opportunity to thrive. In recognition of American Heart Month, we were proud to partner with the Congenital Heart Defect Coalition to put together Kits of Hope for young children with heart defects who are awaiting treatment in hospitals across the country. Our Taro team members in Hawthorne, NY, assembled 100 kits that will be sent to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Cohen Children’s Center, Northwell Health, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Boston’s Children’s Hospital and Columbia Medical Center.
