Sechs Unternehmen mit einem Umsatz von einer Milliarde Euro fusionieren und benötigen für die Integration einen HR Transition Manager, der in der Lage ist, sich in diesem komplexen Umfeld zurechtzufinden.
 
Unser Partner VALPEO aus der Valtus Alliance mit Sitz in Brüssel stellte einen erfahrenen Interim Manager bereit und berichtet nun von dieser erfolgreichen Fallstudie:
 
Die Herausforderung
 
Das Unternehmen lieferte Werkzeuge und Ausrüstungen für den Telekommunikations- und Energiesektor. Die Aufgabe wurde durch die Tatsache erschwert, dass einige der fusionierten Unternehmen zuvor Konkurrenten waren und nun zusammenarbeiten mussten.

Die Lösung
 
Der unmittelbare Fokus lag auf der Verankerung talentierter Manager:innen, der Harmonisierung der Personalpolitik, der Schaffung eines neuen Organisationsdesigns, der Durchführung einer Due-Diligence-Prüfung der HR-Teams und -Prozesse, der Strukturierung der Rekrutierungs- und Bindungspolitik und der Erarbeitung von Prozessen zur Erleichterung der Anstellung des zukünftigen HR-Direktors.

Das Ergebnis
 
Der bereitgestellte Interim HR Transition Manager hatte nachweisliche Erfahrung im Veränderungsmanagement (Personalabbau, Berichterstattung an ausländische Zentralen, Plan zur Bindung von Schlüsselkräften, Gewerkschaftsverhandlungen) und bei Integrationsmaßnahmen (Prozesse, Mitarbeiter, HRIS, Comp&Ben...). Es gelang ihm, die sechs HR Abteilungen innerhalb von 12 Monaten zu integrieren und so die durch die M&A-Transaktionen geschaffenen Werte abzusichern und zu erhöhen.

Leadership, in its most transformative form, is about creating spaces that welcome diverse perspectives and ideas.

Duco Sickinghe's insights on leadership and the process of attracting top talent illuminate the essence of effective team and leadership dynamics. He highlights the magnetic effect of 'A' leadership in attracting 'A' talent, emphasizing the critical role of being conscious of one's starting point. Acknowledging and embracing our gaps in knowledge as strengths, a state he describes as being "consciously incompetent," is key to personal and organizational development. 

The path of innovation and leadership is one best walked with others, in a culture that champions inclusion, excellence, and continuous learning. 

Beyond the speakers, the FTI SuperNova presents an invaluable networking opportunity. Our team engaged in meaningful exchanges, fostering new connections and deepening existing ones.
