When growth stalls, suppliers raise prices and software buyers are asked to foot the bill.

For 5 consecutive quarters, price decreases were on the rise. That changed this quarter. 

In Q3, price increases spiked, with more than 50% of renewals coming in at an increased price.

Let's deep dive on the time it takes software buyers to negotiate, by average contract value:

Big jump: Negotiation time jumps by 50% when moving from sub-$10k to the $10-20k ACV bracket.

Steady Climb: From $10k to $100k, negotiation days gradually increase, reflecting the rising intricacies of larger contracts.

Above the Peak: $100k+ deals revert to 27 days, suggesting more mature, efficient negotiation processes at play for larger contracts. Maybe it's the combo of professional procurement orgs and more strategic account executives?
