In line with this mission, our Hong Kong team organized a fantastic charity bazaar, with the goal of creating a positive effect on the lives of those in need within our community. During the festive season of Christmas and Chinese New Year, our passionate teams from various departments participated in this fundraising campaign, extending their  support to the Hong Kong Joint Council of Parents of the Mentally Handicapped (HKJCPMH), which focuses on the welfare, services, and rights of intellectually disabled individuals.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our colleagues, we were able to make a meaningful contribution to HKJCPMH, raising awareness about the challenges faced by intellectually disabled individuals in our community. We firmly believe that these small steps can create a ripple effect of positive change in our community, ultimately making a profound difference in the lives of many.

After months of behind-the-scenes work by the event organizer - Experia Events Pte Ltd, the 400+ exhibitors and all members involved in the Singapore Airshow, Asia’s most influential airshow finally opens its door for trade visitors and the public from 20 – 25 February 2024.

We are glad to have the presence of Guillaume B., Executive Vice President, DSV Solutions APAC, and Elias Monem, Global Head for DSV Fairs & Events, at the airshow personally to interact with the DSV Fairs & Events team managing the logistics of the event and meet with stakeholders from the Aerospace and Defense industry. 

The event will be opened to public over the weekend. In the meantime, the Fairs & Events team is already hard at work planning for the event moving out.

Our Delhi airport office and warehouse is a cutting-edge facility at Delhi airport, spans an impressive 23,500 square feet, and enjoys a convenient location just a 5-minute walk from the cargo terminal. It operates independently of truck movement restrictions during no-entry times.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         This state-of-the-art facility was inaugurated by Mr. Jakob Jeppesen, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, and Mr. Sameer Khatri, Managing Director, India, and Regional Director Indian Sub-Continent, alongside Mr. Pratul Shekhar, Senior Director Airfreight and our dedicated team from the Delhi airport office. The inauguration ceremony was attended by over 50 top executives from our partners including GMR Group,  Delhi International Airport Ltd,  Celebi Airport Services India Pvt. Ltd., Delhi Cargo Service Center Pvt. Ltd. and airline officials.

Highlighted features include:
• Three-tier racking facilities on the ground level and two additional stories, furnished with DSV-dedicated electric trucks and environmentally friendly forklifts
• Specifically designated cold storage space measuring 750 square feet, featuring two temperature-controlled chambers set to maintain temperatures between 2 to 8 and 15 to 25 degrees Celsius
•  Designated zones for packaging, pallet assembly, quarantine procedures, as well as handling ODC/special and valuable cargo
• Continuous surveillance through 24/7 CCTV monitoring and access control, ensuring operational readiness every day of the year
• Located on the T3 approach road for easy accessibility
• Dedicated QC/Inspection room for quality control
• Custom bonded facility services available.
• A workforce of over 50 airfreight professionals stationed at the facility.

The CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) has published their 2023 Climate Change score, revealing the disclosure and environmental impact performance results of over 23,000 companies.

As one of these companies, we are proud to announce that we have been awarded an A- score, improving on our B score from 2022. Achieving the A- score places us in the Leadership band among the top 12% of companies in our Activity Group: Intermodal transport and logistics. This achievement recognises our commitment to environmental transparency.
 
At DSV, we have set ambitious carbon emissions reduction targets approved by SBTi, including our commitment to achieve net-zero by 2050. To achieve this, we have implemented a detailed climate transition approach across the whole Group.
 
We are pleased that our actions are recognised by CDP, acknowledging our commitment to environmental transparency and dedication to making a positive environmental impact. Martin Andreasen, Executive Vice President of Group Sustainability & Compliance, states:

Mr. Jakob Jeppesen, Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific and Mr. Sameer Khatri, Managing Director, India and Regional Director - Indian Subcontinent along with the Hyderabad team hosted the DSV Hyderabad Client Meet- 2024.  This gathering had nearly 150 attendees representing various sectors such as Healthcare, Aerospace, Defence, FMCG, Engineering Goods, Industrial Projects, and Aid & Relief.
