Our latest #onboarding event covered this and much more: Our new team members spent 3 days fully immersed in the heart of our organisation. Each day brought fresh insights into what makes MaibornWolff tick as an IT service provider, from our roots to our strategic vision. 
 
𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭: Founder Holger Wolff kicked things off with the inspiring journey from our inception to where we are today. Did you know that it took us from 1994 to 2010 to grow from 0 to 50 employees, and only another 15 years to reach over 1000? Holger highlighted the importance of customer satisfaction and our culture of trust.
 
𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: Marcus Adlwart and Christian Loos transformed our newbies into project managers and CFOs. They dove deep into the company's figures, gaining a hands-on understanding of our KPIs.
 
𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯: Florian Theimer unveiled our future strategy and service offerings, providing a clear picture of our core business and vision moving forward.

Ayadi Yassine: "I really appreciated the opportunity to meet colleagues from different office locations and get to know each other better. I also enjoyed the interactive session with the CEOs, where we could ask any questions we had, which made me feel more connected and involved in our company's direction and goals."

This way, when you travel to another office you already know some familiar faces. Our 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 Wins the 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for Best Employee Development Project
 
At MaibornWolff, continuous training is one of our core values. In 2021, together with LearnChamp we implemented our internal learning system, Elements. Christine Weinmann added, "Since we integrated Totara, we have transformed our complex and varied training offers into a well-organized system." Totara centralizes diverse training resources, from seminars to e-learning courses. Our aim was to simplify learning.
 
By June 2023, we transformed Elements into a streamlined, efficient platform now benefiting over 1000 employees. Senka Grossauer highlighted, "Our team now has endless opportunities for advancement, all through a more intuitive interface, complemented by powerful reporting features for administrators." Now, each employee benefits from an user-friendly dashboard (new Design) that clearly displays their training schedules and budgets.
 
Our journey with Elements doesn't stop here. Ben Bergmann: "We're excited to integrate AI in the form of an AI Learning Assistant for even more personalized learning experiences."

𝗪𝗶𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘇𝗲 𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗺 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗴? 🤔 In unserer eintägigen Power Platform School "Enabling Citizen Developers" haben unsere Mitarbeitenden genau das gelernt! 

Unsere Kollegen Tobias Daffner und Annalena Hüsam haben gezeigt, wie man mit der Microsoft Power Platform nützliche Apps und Automatisierungen erstellt – ganz ohne umfangreiche Programmierkenntnisse.

Am Ende des Tages konnten die Teilnehmenden folgendes mitnehmen:

• Ein gutes Verständnis von Low Code und der Power Platform
• Methoden zur Digitalisierung interner Prozesse
• Erstellung einfacher Benutzeroberflächen mit Canvas Apps
• Automatisierung von Office 365-Funktionen mit Power Automate Flows
• Tipps zur Lösung möglicher Herausforderungen

Sandra, eine unserer Teilnehmerinnen, beschreibt ihre Erfahrung so: „Mit meiner neu erworbenen Low Code-Expertise (Anfänger) kann ich jetzt maßgeschneiderte App-Lösungen in kurzer Zeit für uns bauen, erstellen und implementieren. Trotzdem erfordert die Erstellung der perfekten Low Code-App immer noch gezieltes Training und ständige Praxis, um jede nuancierte Anforderung optimal zu erfüllen. Also dran bleiben & ausprobieren.“

Parents' evening at Kraftwerk or After Work in a special edition: this time without Apple Vision Pro, but with lots of information and cross-generational discussions. 

A remarkable evening. In many respects.

Our colleague Alexandra Mesmer brought her mother and sister along: "Two separate realities of life come together. This gives rise to so many 'aha' moments and mutual understanding. After the parents' evening, they can understand why I rave about my work at MaibornWolff so often."

Letzte Woche haben unsere Kollegen Christoph Menke und Anna-Louisa Wirbel die Ergebnisse von zwei spannenden KI-Projekten gefeiert, die zusammen mit Studierenden der HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences entstanden sind. Die Projekte wurden in unserem Hamburger Büro präsentiert und zeigen beeindruckende Fortschritte in den Bereichen Prognosen und Lernplattformen.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗸𝘁 𝟭: 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗳𝘂̈𝗿 𝗨𝗺𝘀𝗮𝘁𝘇𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻
Ein Team von Studierenden verwandelte unsere bisherigen Excel-basierten Prognosen in eine moderne Web-App und integrierte Maibot, einen KI-Chatbot. Maibot liefert hilfreiche Einblicke aus den Daten und unterstützt bei der Entscheidungsfindung.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗸𝘁 𝟮: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗳𝘂̈𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺
Ein weiteres Team entwickelte Ellie, einen Chatbot für unsere interne Lernplattform bei MaibornWolff. Ellie gibt Kursempfehlungen, verwaltet Buchungen und hält das Budget im Blick.

Rückblickend auf die letzten vier Monate erklärt Anna-Louisa: „Besonders beeindruckend fand ich, wie schnell die Studentinnen sich in unbekannte Themengebiete einarbeiten und wie souverän sie mit verschiedenen Problemen und Herausforderungen umgehen konnten.” Christoph betonte: „Die Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams hat mir enorm viel Freude bereitet und die Ergebnisse sprechen für sich.”

Wir sind stolz darauf, diese Studierenden zu unterstützen und freuen uns auf ihre weitere Entwicklung in der KI-Forschung und Mustererkennung.
