Re-Fresh Global is disrupting the textile industry through its ground-breaking technology which transforms textile waste into new raw materials.

Founded in 2019 by entrepreneurs Viktoria Kanar and Revital Nadiv Zivan, the company confronts the global problem of textile waste that affects industries, government and the social sector. It's time for a circular revolution in Europe! ♻️ 🇪🇺

According to this article from both The European Sting, the World Economic Forum and written by Henrik Hvid Jensen, Chief Technology Strategist with DXC Technology, "the circular economy is a transformative approach that goes beyond incremental changes in waste reduction and recycling". Unlike the traditional, linear economy with its take, make and dispose model, the circular economy is designed to protect the enviroment through its system of reusing, recycling and repurposing while reducing dependence on raw materials and creating real, sustainable jobs. And for big fashion brands and textiles companies alike, the circular economy model equates to saved money, increased customer loyalty, the opportunity to develop new markets, and capturing more value from available resources to name but a few. 📈

For textile waste, we believe that only the full implementation of a circular textiles approach such as our ground-breaking technology which turns textiles waste into new, raw materials is the obvious answer!💡 

And time is not on our side. As Jensen says in the article, "the circular economy is not an option; it's an imperative. And the time to act is not tomorrow; it's today".⏰

The EU has sounded the alarm on it's deluge of textile waste! 🚨🇪🇺

According to this article from Waste Management World - WMW, the vision set out in the "EU Action Plan on Sustainable and Circular Textiles" from the European Commission will see "all textile products on the EU market are durable, repairable, and recyclable, made mainly of recycled fibres, free of harmful substances and produced with respect for social rights and the environment." Which means consumers will benefit from high-quality, affordable textiles, with the aim of putting fast fashion out of fashion. And we fully support this! 💯

And we also believe that our ground-breaking technology which transforms textile waste into new raw materials including our Smart Textile Waste Upcycling Microfactory, a complete urban manufacturing solution, is Europe's answer!💡
