In January 2010, Tecmo, Inc. and Koei Corporation merged into Tecmo Koei America Corporation. Tecmo has been declared disbanded in Japan, effective as of April 1, 2010. Koei Canada, Inc. has since changed its name to Tecmo Koei Canada, Inc.
