We have had the NEW Mandarin Yuzu in-house on tap for the past few months and it’s safe to say we have all been massive fans from the get go ( no lie, the Mandarins are plucked from our staff fridge daily 😑 we have to be fast to get our fizzy fix ) Once we launched we knew we had to stalk out a sunny day and hit the streets. So last week we hit Mount Maunganui boardwalk to get this brew in people’s hands. General consensus: “It’s actually really good” 😝

We’re buzzing to unveil the first new addition to our Core Kombucha lineup in two years: Mandarin Yuzu 🧡🍋✨ This vibrant blend offers a sensory experience like no other, featuring a bright and refreshing aroma with a taste that perfectly balances sweet and sour. It’s so smooth, you might question whether it’s truly Kombucha. We asked Luke, our Head Brewer, about the inspiration behind mastering Mandarin Yuzu: “I really wanted to create a citrus flavor because the pH of kombucha compliments the tangy, refreshing citrus profile so well. In our household, Mandarin season is always celebrated, with lunch boxes consistently filled with this delicious orange fruit. However, finding a Mandarin drink is rare, so I decided to experiment. I quickly realized that while Mandarin’s sweetness is beautiful, it needs a counterbalance, which is where Yuzu comes in. Its tart zing cleanses the palate and creates the perfect blend of sweet and sour.” Cheers to Mandarin Yuzu—and to many more exciting flavours to come!

Awesome weekend up in Auckland at @thefoodshow 🤠 Meeting our customers, sampling to first time kombucha drinkers, chatting to people about our brand and our values - was so refreshing 🫶 Our A Series Hawkes Bay Peach & Kawakawa stole the show selling out on day #2 and again on day #3 🍑🌿 Many people recognised our brand but didn’t know our Kombucha is brewed the traditional way with no artificial sweeteners, only the best organic ingredients AND that we brew it right here in New Zealand and have done so for almost 10 years. So we are on a Marketing mission to keep spreading the word 🫡
