While well-intentioned, carbon credits often overpromise and underdeliver, falling short of the systemic change needed for meaningful climate mitigation. 📊 Instead, we discussed the potential of climate contributions as a new way forward for #foundations . The #PhilanthropyForClimate movement has reached 800 signatories! The world is feeling the impacts of the climate emergency. But there's still time to act. Philanthropy can tackle climate change by using its resources, independence, and influence as a catalyst for change.
