Who Gives A Crap (WGAC) is a brand of toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels that was founded in Australia in 2012. The company sells recycled products and donates half its profits to charity.

We are one of the fastest-growing eCommerce businesses in Australia (and now the US and UK too!). More than that, we’re one of the country’s fastest-growing social businesses.

Who Gives a Crap sells beautiful, forest friendly toilet paper, paper towels and tissues and we donate 50% of our profits to help build toilets for those in need. As much as we love toilet paper, the reason we’re in business is the impact we’re having on the world—To date, Who Gives A Crap has donated over $8 million Aussie dollars to our charity partners, WaterAid, Sanergy, Lwala Community Alliance and Shining Hope For Communities, iDE and  WaterSHED. The more innovative the solutions our partners can unlock, the quicker we can help build toilets for the 2 billion people who don’t have them.

We have a fully distributed business with all team members working remotely (i.e. from home or a co-working space) most of the time. We currently operate in six time zones with team members across four continents... and we’re just getting started.

This week we announced that our entire global team will have February 29 - a leap day - off work.

February 29 is a rare and magical day that only appears once every four years. It’s an extra day we could all continue working hard… or, on the other hand, be doing something we're passionate about outside of work, whatever that may look like.

So if you happen to reach out to our team next week, they'll probably be out walking the dog, making pasta from scratch, playing leap frog, protesting for a better world, going for a swim, or doing nothing at all. As long as it's something they love, they're doing the day right. Because when we get these extra moments, we think it’s worth making the most of them.

Did you know we donate 50% of our profits to sanitation and water non-profits? That’s right, fifty. Aka half. Aka a duplex.

Love letters, first date receipts, marriage certificates - we’ve done the research, and people are hanging on to relationship relics far too long. So, we’re inviting everyone to wipe the slate clean by mailing us any cursed paper correspondence taking up psychic space in their sock drawer. We’ll deliver it directly to our production facilities, where it’ll be transformed into our 100% recycled, eco-friendly TP.
