Quickie Delivery Expands to College Campus, Uber and Waymo Launch Autonomous Rides, Uber Eats Introduces Multi-Store Ordering

Quickie Delivery, founded by Cal Poly students, plans to expand to a second college campus by Fall 2024. They aim to provide low-priced and fast deliveries while focusing on being environmentally friendly. Uber and Waymo have launched fully autonomous rides in Phoenix, with Waymo Driver self-driving car technology. Uber Technologies Inc. is expanding into travel and tourism by allowing users to book hot air balloon rides in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. Uber Eats has introduced a new feature that allows customers to order from two stores at the same time, without paying an additional delivery fee. Uber Eats has also announced the launch of Multi-Store Ordering, a feature that enables customers to add items from other restaurants, convenience stores, and liquor retailers to their orders without being charged an additional delivery fee.
