Last Wednesday, on June 19th, Beiersdorf Thailand proudly celebrated Pride Month, marking Thailand as the first Southeast Asian nation to legalize same-sex marriage. 🌈🎉  Over 75 employees participated in an inspiring sofa talk centered around the theme 'Success is not defined by gender.' Dr. Jeab Lalana, who once held the title of Miss Thailand in 2006, graced us with her inspiring journey.

From her days as a medical student to her success in the entertainment industry, she has shown us that success isn't just about big achievements. It's about the little wins that light up our daily lives. At the heart of the event was a simple yet powerful message: every step counts. Dr. Jeab Lalana's passion for helping others shines through her 'Free Clinic,' a place where everyone—including animals—gets the care they deserve.

We are ready to unlock the next stage of global sales growth: At the Beiersdorf Capital Markets Day at our new Campus in Hamburg, our Executive Committee gave a comprehensive strategic update to the global financial community.
 
With our “Win with Care” strategy we aim to further enhance Beiersdorf’s profitable growth trajectory of recent years. Our path towards our ambitious vision to be the best skin care company in the world is clear. 

We will: 
· deliver transformative innovation and capture strong growth in three high-value areas of the skincare market: hyperpigmentation, anti-aging solutions, and microbiome science. 
· close gaps in our global product presence, in 2024 and 2025 especially India, China, Nigeria and the US, and 
· continue to strengthen our position as industry leader in climate care. Newly set targets for 2032 see a greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction of 30% by 2025 and 50% by 2032 (vs. 2018), as well as an extensive further product transformation. 
 
Beiersdorf confirmed the medium-term guidance to grow the EBIT margin (excluding special factors) of the Consumer Business Segment of at least 50bps per year, enabling the company to focus and invest in its growth areas.

For the second year in a row, the entire team of Beiersdorf Cosmetics Spain celebrated the Care Beyond Day 2024, a day of volunteering with the NGO Adopta un Abuelo (“Adopt a Grandparent”) to generate a positive impact for the Spanish elderly and raise awareness about their situation.
 
The team had the opportunity to share a morning full of touching stories, complicity, and laughter with 60 elderly people from different nursing homes and day centers, as a homage to their wisdom and kindness. In this way, we demonstrate that our commitment with society goes beyond skin care.
