Additionally, it offers Etsy seller analytics pages that provides insights regarding traffic acquisition for their shops; Targeted Offers, a sales and promotions tool, and social media tool; and accounting and bookkeeping services. The company also provides educational resources comprising blog posts, video tutorials, Etsy Seller Handbook, Etsy.com online forums, and insights; Etsy Teams, a platform to build personal relationships with other Etsy sellers; and a Star Seller program. As of December 31, 2021, it connected a total of 7.5 million active sellers to 96.3 million active buyers; and had 120 million items for sale. The company was formerly known as Indieco, Inc changed its name to Etsy, Inc. in June 2006. Etsy, Inc. was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York.

As winter approaches in NYC, we teamed up with Breaking Ground (NYC Permanent Supportive Housing) to assemble winter weather kits for neighbors in need. Colleagues came together to pack scarves, hats, and gloves in hopes of providing warmth to others during these colder months. In the spirit of giving back, we’re also running a month-long toy and coat drive with New York Cares. Here's to spreading warmth and compassion throughout our communities!

In support of this work, Etsy signed onto the Digital Fairness Pledge, a set of voluntary commitments created to protect buyers online, as part of the European Union’s Consumer Protection Pledge.

Etsy recently hosted a bipartisan group of women Senate staffers at our Brooklyn office, in partnership with Global Women's Innovation Network (GlobalWIN), for an opportunity to connect directly with Etsy sellers and gain firsthand insights into the impact legislation has on their lives.
