As the 1-year anniversary of the train derailment in #EastPalestine approaches, FirstEnergy engineers are looking back on something that went right that day. 

Thankfully, the company had already installed new #smartgrid technology in the area. As John Shuman explains, it allowed our system operators to meet the needs of first responders quickly, prevented line crews from having to enter the danger zone and saved hundreds of customers from an outage that day.
