Ever wondered what drives an aggressive state in the brain? 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 et al. from 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗝. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻's lab at Caltech has some fascinating answers! Published in Cell, this study uncovers how neuropeptide signaling in the hypothalamus shapes aggression. Siegelbaum lab at Columbia University have uncovered new insights into how the hippocampus processes social fear.
