Over the years, he’s embarked on mountaineering expeditions across Europe, North America, and Iceland, often joined by his colleagues at Marel. Ten years ago, he and a group of coworkers crossed Iceland on cross-country skis, sparking many adventures together since then. Currently, Halldór is pursuing a significant goal—climbing Iceland’s 100 highest peaks. He’s scaled 70 so far, with many of the most challenging still ahead. For Halldór, mountaineering is more than a personal challenge; it’s about building deep bonds with fellow climbers and sharing experiences that few others have. Our 3Q24 results are now live. Here are some of the highlights: 🔹 Revenues of EUR 386.9m. 🔹 Year-on-year and sequential increase in both EBITDA margin at 13.8% and EBIT margin at 9.4%, driven by ongoing cost actions. 🔹 Orders received increased to EUR 403m, expected to trend upwards over the coming quarters. 🔹 Outlook for full-year 2024 reiterated with 13-14% EBITDA, 9-10% EBIT, and revenue decline of low single digits. "These third quarter results demonstrate further progress on our strategy as we undertake actions to drive efficiency in our business to manage through near-term challenges in our end markets.
