IMF Representative's Visit to the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion Today, the director of the Agency met with Rimtautas Bartkus , a representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) from Washington, as part of their "Fact-finding mission." The discussion focused on the current status of foreign direct investment (FDI) in North Macedonia and the key steps needed to enhance future investment conditions. The Agency highlighted recent foreign investments announced by the Government, noting that many existing investors are reinvesting due to the favorable business climate, skilled workforce, strategic location, and government incentives for the production sector.
